Can maize become an energy source? How will cars of the future move? How can we protect the environment?
These and many more useful questions, come to be answered through a series of modern and experiential educational programmes carried out within the framework of the exhibition ENERGY – ENVIRONMENT, located on 90 Minoos Avunue.
The first venue in Greece that is associated with the environment and energy, impresses from the first glance. Unfamiliar and unknown uses of energy and natural materials, take a series of answers that provide food for thought, but even more food for thought for a better quality of life, environmental protection and sustainability.
The vision of Choumerianou family, has become a reality and is constantly evolving. This vision emerges in every corner of the exhibition ENERGY – ENVIRONMENT, while education is transformed into for students from 5 to 18 years, through several interesting educational programmes. Through these educational programmes students broaden their knowledge and their education, while escaping from the simple theoretical education of the book and become partakers of a wonderful world, full of experiments, stunning visuals and … energy.
When the Government collapses, the private initiative still endures.
The first venue in Greece, which aims to raise awareness among students about environmental issues related to energy, but also to contribute to education and sustainability, is the exhibition ENERGY – ENVIRONMENT.
This is an exhibition that, as its initiators have argued, has been created and continues to evolve with the guidance and inspiration the words of a great writer… “Don’t try to feed your vanity with the teaching of many things. Try to awaken the natural human curiosity. It is preferable and sufficient to open your mind rather than overload it. A spark is needed. If there is a flammable material there, it will immediately catch fire”.
